3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Choose your Main Photo
This is the large photo that will be made up of all the small photos. It should be good quality, a minimum file size of 1mb.
Please note, I may suggest a cropping and/or edit of this photo if I think it might enhance the final image. That’s all communicated with you.
Step 2: Choose your small Photos
These will make up your mosaic. A minimum of 100 is required but 200 to 400, or more, is better, (up to 1000) as the more images used the less repeats on your final image.
Step 3: Send your Photos
The methods below are safe, free and easy to use. You upload them here and I download them and set to work to produce your unique mosaic. My preferred option is Wetransfer.com but you can use Google Drive or Dropbox. Choose which ever you find easier to use. If you’re not familiar with any of the methods, don’t worry I can talk you through the process.

For digital copy only, you will receive a jpeg file within 2-3 days.
For prints, a digital proof will be sent for you to view before dispatch. Revisions are free to make sure you’re fully satisfied with your finished mosaic.
As this is a very special purchase every effort will be made to make your experience as easy as possible. I will communicate with you throughout the process and answer any questions you may have.
Please note:
Your photos are only used for the creation of your photo mosaic and will be deleted 3 weeks after receipt of payment. All data is protected until then and nothing is passed on, released, published or similar.
Permission will be sought to use your finished photo mosaic, as an example, here on the website. It won’t be used for this or any other promotional material published by Special Moment Mosaics without your permission.

You need to send one photo of a good file size (at least 2mb) to use for the main image. And at least 100 other photos to use as the small photos that make up the mosaic. 200 to 300 is advised or even more (max. 1000). The more photos that are used the less they will be repeated throughout the finished mosaic.

There are 3 different ways to send your photos. They are all safe and easy to use. Wetransfer.com is my preferred one but you can also use Google Drive and Dropbox. If you are unfamiliar with any of them I can talk you through the process.

A Standard Mosaic is your main photo fully ‘mosaiced’ with your small photos. This is better when the subject or subjects are in close-up.
A Layered Mosaic is the subject or subjects are removed from making the mosaic and then layered back after the process. This is better when the main photo is of a group or not in close-up.

That will be down to the space you want to hang your mosaic. It’s always best to measure up. Remember, the minimum dimensions of the mosaic are 20”x20”. That is the minimum size at which you can see and enjoy the small photo cells.

This will depend on how it takes you to send me your photos and how long it takes to create your mosaic and whether you're happy with it.

Your photos will be deleted three weeks after payment. They will not be used for any other purpose or passed on to anyone else. Permission will be sought to use your mosaic on the website as an example. It will not be used here or on any promotional material without your permission.

Yes. I will send you a digital copy for you to view. This is obviously better viewed on a bigger screen but will still not be fully representative of the final printed version.
Every effort will be made to ensure you like your mosaic and revisions are free until you completely satisfied.
